SMS Credits and Coverage
  • Text credits: Text message of 160 character for GSM characters and 70 characters for non-GSM characters (Unicode) is one text credit for the USA & Canada. For international coverage and credits, see International SMS.
  • 1/2 credit for blocked Short code message re-routing: 1/2 credit additional for failed message re-routing for USA receipients. On customer request carriers sometimes block text messages from the Short codes, in that case we can redirect message through a different route.
  • When sending text messages to be sure to prefix country code to a mobile number. For example; prefix "1" for USA and Canada numbers such as 12123005984, 4479000000 for UK, etc.
USA Coverage
We deliver messages to the USA using shared shortcodes, high throughput, and direct carriers connections. TXTImpact also offers dedicated shortcode, local phone number, toll-free or landline for your texting needs.
International Coverage

    All campaigns using a default shared shortcode (27126) is capable of receiving messages from a number of international destinations using the respective local phone. Click here for all international texting numbers.
  • Sending Text messages to international mobile users
    TXTImpact can deliver SMS to over 800 wireless networks worldwide. For a number of international destinations we use a shared local number as sender id, the system will select a local number automatically based on the country. If you would like to use your local area code or country local number as senderID, we can offer local numbers for USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, UK, Australia, Austria, China, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland. One time event?
We don't offer one-time usage plan. You can cancel your subscription once you're done with the campaign, there is no cancellation fee or any term contract. Make sure to cancel your account once done with the campaign; there is no refund for unused service. You're responsible for the monthly subscription fee as long as you have an active account.

What is Poll keyword and options?

SMS Poll Keyword is used to identify the poll, it’s used in conjunction with an option, people will text the poll keyword and option to vote for polling participants.

For example, if you’re doing dance competition and want people to cast their votes for participants. You can choose a keyword to identify your SMS poll, such as “DANCE” and each contestant in the competition in an option for people to choose or cast a vote.

You may designate option 1,2,3,4… for each participant or their nicknames. If someone wants to vote for contestant 3, they will text “DANCE3” to a shortcode.
Please note that there shall not be any special characters like _, #, $ etc. in your keywords.

What is the keyword?
Keywords allow your customers to cast their vote or request a text survey. A Keyword is a short word identifies your campaigns. For example: ‘Text DANCE to 27126 to cast a vote for your favorite dancer or Text CUSSurvey to take a short survey.

How many Text Credits do I need for a polling campaign?
Polling campaign is consists of a single question with either multiple choice or open-ended response. Every time our system send out a text message of 160 characters or 70 characters in case of a text message contains Non-GSM characters, from your campaign, it considers a one text credit. If you have an audience of 500 people and if everyone is going to cast a vote, you need at least 500 text credits assuming the vote confirmation message is under 160 characters.
How many Text Credits do I need for a Text Survey campaign?
Survey Texting campaign can consists of multiple questions with either multiple choice or open-ended response with a welcome message and a completion confirmation message. Based on the length of your questions plus multiple choices, it may need two credits for one question delivered. If you have a survey with three multiple-choice questions and 500 recipients, you may need at least 4000 text credits plan. You must plan ahead of your event and also if this is an ongoing campaign, speak to sales team for a long term discounted plan
What happens once I used up all Text Credits?
To monitor your text credits usage, you can configure low text credits threshold email alert. Anytime your text credits fall below the threshold, you’ll be notified. At that point, you can either Add additional credits to be used for that month or upgrade your account to next level.
