Steps to Manually Upload Contacts Using CSV or Excel File:

In this tutorial, we'll learn how to manually upload contacts using a CSV or Excel file.

  1. Access Dashboard:

    • Log in to your dashboard using your credentials.
  2. Create a New List:

    • Navigate to "Subscribers" and click on the plus button to create a new list.
    • Give the list a name for internal reference.
  3. Edit Custom Fields:

    • Before adding contacts, edit custom fields by clicking on "Actions" and then "Update Custom Fields."
    • Customize the fields as needed for personalized messaging.
  4. Add Contacts:

    • Select the newly created list from the subscribers section.
    • Click the upload CSV button from the dropdown menu.
    • You can manually add contacts or import them from a CSV or Excel file.
  5. Review Format:

    • Ensure your CSV or Excel file follows the correct format:
      • Mobile numbers should be in the first column.
      • Field names should be in the second column.
      • Email addresses, if available, should be in the third column.
      • Any custom fields should follow.
      • Each contact should be separated by a line feed.
  6. Upload File:

    • Choose the file you want to import and click "Upload."
    • Ensure to check the "No Spam Declaration" checkbox before importing contacts to comply with regulations.
