Track Clicks in Text Messages: Easy Step-by-Step Guide-TXTImpact

Learn how to add trackable links to your text messages and see who clicked! Boost engagement and measure results.

  1. Log in to Your Dashboard:

    • Access the dashboard using your login credentials.
  2. Compose a Message:

    • Click on "Compose."
    • Enter a broadcast name for internal reference.
    • Enter the mobile numbers you wish to send the messages to, either by selecting a list or entering them manually.
    • Enter the text message in the message field.
  3. Add Trackable URL:

    • Click on the "Click Through URL" icon to add a short URL to your message.
    • Click the "Insert Trackable URL" button.
  4. Schedule Message:

    • Select when you want the messages to be sent.
    • Click "Next."
  5. Review and Send:

    • Review the details and click "Done" to send the messages.
  6. Access Click Through Report:

    • Click on "Reports."
    • Then click on "Click Through Report."
    • Select the particular link you want the report for.
  7. View Report:

    • You'll see the full list of people who have received the link.
    • You can also see who has opened the link you sent.
    • Use the filter options to view only the people who have opened the link or those who have not visited it.
    • You can set the filter in the "Visited Status" box.
  8. Send Another Message:

    • From this screen, you can send another message to all users or select users based on their link visit status.
    • Just click on "Send Message" and follow the steps to send the message as shown earlier.
