What is keyword?  
Keywords allow your customers to interact with your services, to receive on demand information, e.g business locations, todays specials, on demand coupons, or join mailing list, etc. A Keyword is a short word identifies your campaigns. For example: 'Text Club to 27126 to receive weekly specials.'; 'Club' is a keyword in this case.  
How Long Can Text Messages Be?  
A standard text message is limited to 160 characters. Characters means letters, numbers, spaces, symbols and punctuation.  
What Is A Short Code?  
A Short Code is 5-6 digit number provided by carriers, similar to the a mobile number. It is a unique number allow people to send text messages to, and allow application intergrators receive messages from carriers' gateway.  
What Does It Mean To Opt-In?  
Opt-in a permission based marketing.  
What Does It Mean To Opt-out?  
Opt-out allow customers to stop receiving messages from shortcode. Customer can text "STOP" to 27126 to stop any messages coming from your service.  
How long do I own my Keyword?  
For as long as you continue to subscribe. If you cancel your account, your keyword becomes available for others to register.
 
How often can I send new promotions or alerts to my subscriber list?  
The Mobile Marketing Association recommends no more than 2 per week. However, we don't limit you as long as you're sending messages to opted-in customers only.  
How can I upload, or enter mobile phone #'s to one of my marketing lists?  
You can upload marketing list using dashboard.  
Do you have published pricing for higher volumes?  
Yes. Please contact sales for more information on dedicated short code and higher messaging volume.  
Are there any set-up costs?  
No, there is no setup fee.  
Can I cancel or change plans?  
Our service is provided on a month to month basis. You can change plans or cancel at any time. Be sure to cancel or change your plan before your monthly renewal date. We cannot give partial month refunds.  
Do you charge for Inbound messages?  
No. We do not charge for inbound Mobile Originated (MO) messages- such as those used by the consumer during the opt-in process. Each MO and corresponding MT considered one transaction.  
Which wireless carriers work with TxtImpact?  
TxtImpact currently works on AT and T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Alltel, Cellular One, Nextel, Sprint, Boost,US Cellular, Virgin Mobile, Appalachian Wireless,Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular One of East Central Illinois,Centennial Wireless, Immix Wireless, Revol Wireless, Unicel, West Central Wireless, Cellcom, Cellular South.  
If I have message credits left over at the end of the month, do they carry-over to the next month?  

For all monthly subscriptions plans with messages. Messages expires end of month. Additional messages credits rolls over month to month.

 
Can I start with a small plan and then upgrade if I need more?
